Lots of video editing posts on here. Many people seem to prefer Pinnacle, which apparently edits the .mov files without any transcoding beforehand. Others prefer Cyberlink but it has issues showing all the frames in 60p. Still others (like myself) prefer Sony Vegas. For the price it's the most powerful (imho), but people seem to think it has a difficult learning curve. Personally I find it easy. But you have to transcode before you edit with a codec like DNxHD which is a visually lossless codec.

So, you have options.

Windows Movie Maker is not the way to go.
