Question on Kx from a Canon DSLR user

I used to have Pentax Films cameras a looooong time ago.

I just sold my Canon 5D and have mainly been using an EP1. I'd still like a DSLR for certain applications, and am considering the XSi.

But, after reading a little about the Kx, that has my attention.

Here are my questions for anyone who could help:

1) How many stops effective is the IBIS on a Pentax? I am quite pleased with my EP1 (in fact, I am thinking that I like legacy lenses so much on the EP1, I might want to share on the Pentax)

2) How big (in MB) are the RAW files?

3) How easy is the live view functionality to use? I'm thinking here Macro shots

4) what are good lenses to replace the following: Canon 35mm/2.0, Canon 70-300 IS USM, Canon 85mm 1.8. Are the Pentax versions just as nice as the Canon (these are all mid-grade consumer lenses)

5) How's the AF speed and accuracy? On the center point? Off the center point? Rebels have reasonable center point AF, but terrible elsewhere.

Anything else to think about regarding the XSi vs. Kx (besides movie modes)?

Thanks for any help.

I refuse to wed myself to any of these vendors. I'm just having fun taking pictures,
and watching the technology develop.
