I'm seeing a nice improvement with this batch. As always, it is still important to hold the camera steady. Sometimes stopping down a bit will also improve the crispiness. There is more of the bird in these frames which does yield better detail. I sense you like to include some of the environment as it provides a complete setting, rather than a closeup examination of the bird. Keep shooting and having fun! I'm off to find some eagles and a re-visit to the Great Horned Owls.
