Yes, very nice shots! I'm ready to purchase a new all in one lens for my D300s and can't decide between the 18-200 or 16-85. Looking at your shots you can't ask for better than that. You may have swayed me toward the 18-200.

I've used both.....and both lenses are pretty identicle in build quality. I would always choose the 18-200 over the 16-85 for the extra very useful reach......ive used 2 or 3 copies of the 18-200 now and all were sharp.....okay it may drop off a tad at 200mm....but search my flickr site...I have a swan taken at 200mm and you can see all the detail, very sharp

Unless I was buying the 24-70 2.8.....I would get the 18-200 over the 16-85, but there will be people out there who think they can see a difference in quality....its about opinions....yeah there are distortions at the wide end, but its all easily correctable in photoshop

I could not do without my 18-200 now

Thanks FletchUK, your pictures are great! I did order the 16-85, but I'm also going to get the 18-200 next month. The only way I'll know is to use them both. I also have a D200 besides my D300s. They will both get used.
