Some pictures of G2 and G10
Was at Focus on Imaging today and managed to have a look at the new cameras from Panasonic. Very much impressed by the G2, not so much by the G10 (the viewfinder has more or less same resolution as that of the GF1, which makes difficult manual focusing). The touch screen in G2 is nicely implemented and you can set both focus and the quick menu parameters via touch, although it can be a bit cumbersome for the latter. The G2 will also now automatically switch from EVF to LCD using the proximity sensors (something that the G1 did not do, at least while I had it). The new 14-42 looks the same size as the 14-45 but does not have OIS switch (controlled directly via camera). Although the G2 is shown here with the old 14-45 the Panny representative confirmed that it will ship with the new 14-42 as a kit.
