One year with my D90...

Beautiful photos. Many thanks for sharing them. I have had D90 for 2 months and a long way to go in comparison to your breath. Keep it up.

You have great shots and the dynamics of the shots are incredible. But I am guessing this has to do more with your skills and less with just the camera. Your the first for me to see a d90 user show off their photo to this level. :)

Darkness is the monster and your shutter is your sword, aperture your shield and iso your armor. Strike fast with your sword and defend well with your shield and hope your armor holds up.

Realy nice pictures Mike.

just wonderful ;)
I got my D90 at the end of February last year, and since then I've taken just over 15k photos with it. It's my first DSLR, and it's my first Nikon... and it's rather needless to say that I'm hooked.

I'm very happy with the quality of the body and the images that the camera produces. The high-ISO noise performance is fantastic. I've traveled with it, had it out in the rain, snow, and sleet... and the camera has always performed flawlessly.

Here are my favorites from the past year:

PS - DPREVIEW: why the narrow forum format? A few hundred pixels in which to display images is rather antiquated... it's not 1995 anymore. And why no HTML formatting? It's 2010 - get with the program.

Very, very nice images.
Thanks for taking the time to share.
I agree, the D90 is a great camera. Its more capable than most of us.
You have a good eye and I like the variety of subject matter.

Mike, very very nice work! I especially enjoy the B&W shots and the train tunnels are remarkable.
You make the D90 sing.

I can see you had a really busy and fruiteful first year with the D90.
Fantastic variety of images, I really think you covered most bases.
I think your colour pic are truly great, the B&W are also good but I have boxes

full of B&W from the old "film days", and nowadays I just enjoy being able to shoot in colours without breaking the bank.
Thanks for sharing.

Leif

Wow, very nice set of picture, I hope my wife didn't see them, she will told me that I don't need to buy d700 to get such a great images.. :(

Mike,

You have much more free time on your hands than I do ;-)

Composition wise… very very nice. Even with a good P&S I suspect you would have done just as fine a job for many (if not most) of them. I say this not to downplay the D90, but to emphasize your skill in looking thru the viewfinder. It looks like you're one of the rare exceptions here who not only knows how to push the buttons, but also when and where to do so.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Mike,
Great photos. Excellent in every way.

What lenses are you using with your D90? I just picked one up a D90 body and am trying to decide what lenses to buy. I'm interested in the same photography.

Thanks for posting your images!
