Signal to Noise Ratio... DxO Mark for top DSLR

This is probably a question for Gordon... but anyone who knows, can answer also... of course.

Thing is, watching the SNR numbers of the DxO Mark for SNR, I see that at ISO 100, the K7 and D300s are on par, but the D300s manage to keep it over the K7 on higher sensitivities. The 7D, is all the time, until ISO 1600 behind the K7... and never keeps up with the D300s.

The question, then is... what is the exact impact in IQ of those numbers? I know what SNR is, but it was supposed that the K7 has not a good SNR, and that Canon had a better overall performance on this.
May someone explain?
