Why you refuse to use video?

Ok I fully understand that there is a large portion of people on this forum that never plan to take video with their interchangeable lens camera. I don’t want to try to convince you to use it with this thread. I just want to understand what stops you from using it.

Take a look at the reasons below. If any of them apply to you let us know. Or if there are other reasons I missed please post them.

1. I can’t figure out how to even play the videos on my TV.

2. I think the videos look worse than my “OLD” Hi-8 camcorder footage.

3. I think the videos look worse than my “NEW” camcorder footage.

4. I am old school, I just don’t want to learn something that is new to me.

5. I can’t take video without it panning and shaking all over the place.

6. I don’t know how to share my videos with the same quality that my photos have.

7. Auto Focus does not work like I want it to on my camera.

8. I don’t like things that move.

9. I don’t like the audio that my camera records.

10. My computer can’t play/convert the video my camera records.

11. Memory cards don’t hold enough footage.

12. My camera can’t record a long enough clip.

13. My camera does not do the frame rate I desire. 24 FPS, 30 FPS, 60 FPS, 120 FPS.

14. I only use the optical view finder and I don’t like using that for video.

15. My camera does not have a flip out LCD which I need for video.

Any others?
