In-camera processing of long-exposure RAW data

interesting thread, does it apply to D3x?

Thanks for all the efforts. Does this affects the D3x as well? I had hopes the D3x RAW was cleaner than the ones from other models.

It seems that the D90's RAW, for example, at all ISO and speeds, has soem extra black clipping applied, compared to the D300/s. Have you tested that (I think Gabor did some work on it)?

I think more and more RAW is loosing its appeal as a clean digital file.
