No more in-camera trickery

Agreed. Leave RAW intact. Just disable the faulty algorightm, and let us clean up the RAW in PP. Nikon will never do that because next thing you know, this forum will be flooded with threads about expensive sensors with tons of hot pixels. The travesty! Etc.

It's easy to argue about equipment and technique, but hard to argue with a good photograph -- and more difficult to capture one .
