The 45/2.8 just doesn't seem to be as blisteringly sharp as the awesome Oly 50/2, but it's a lovely little lens and still takes perfectly nice pictures. What tended to be lost in the usual post-review negativity was that most of my criticisms of the lens were operational, not optical.
