CORRECT!!!!!! It's an SX10. I feel sorry for those bidders and the winner.

I really spelled it that way because it would not let me use that whole word and it might tag the "sale" word as well.

Also, check out the description (another lol).

Type: SLR, Professional
Brand: Nikon
Manufacturer warranty: Yes

You can't transfer canon warranty...unfortunately.

Someone should report it to eBay. That just isn't right. Good eye you have! :-)

I just fired off an email to the seller telling him that he should (and can) correct the listing for the actual model that it is. He used the excuse to one person asking him about this problem with a "other than regular questions, I can't change it because of bids." Bull...

I just fired off an email to the guy telling him that if he doesn't change the ad, I was contacting ebay because this represents a sort of Fraud because the potential buyer will assume he is getting the SX-1 IS.

He writes me back almost immediately saying that the ad has been fixed - which it hadn't at the time of this posting. I hate fraud of any type.

Yeah, I sent him a note last night and got the same story. I've never sold anything on eBay and don't know if the guy is being straight up or not. I can see how eBay would limit modifications to the item once the bidding started. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure he could retract the item and start over with the correct description.

There are quite a few people that sent in the info and it does show up among the questions being asked by potential bidders. So if the bidders are paying attention they'll know that it is the SX10.

I sent him an email last Thursday and he replied back with one word...."ok". I reported it as a listing violation yesterday with eBay. I don't knoow if anything would come out of it. I guess if they got more reports they might pull it out. I hate to be the one to won that item especially if I'm after HD video.

YES!!!! I guess our complaints paid off. The listing was pulled out. Great work guys!!! :)
