50D in Cold Weather - Question?

I'm going out to Colorado in a couple of weeks skiing and am planning on taking my 50D for some outdoor pictures. The manual states the minimum operating temperature is 32 degrees. Well the temperature range for Beaver Creek is running much lower thn this lately (ie more in the 10-25 range). Is there a problem using the 50D in weather this cold? Also, is there anything I should be aware of with regards to bringing the camera inside/outside given such huge temperature changes between the hotel and outside (ie any condensation issues I should be aware of)?

Thanks in Advance.
