I am not leaving Pentax, neither am I getting the K-x.

Jim, I didn't use high iso much before the K-7 either, and this was the very first time I tried available light shots. So, for me it is a matter of availability. I know if I have the K-x I will use iso 6400 more, but it is not worth it for me to carry another dslr and to put up with it's inadequate features for those occasional use. Then again I might change my mind ion that, as those iso 6400 are mighty clean in the K-x.
