ranking of LightJet C-Print labs in US?
I am planning to have my first multi photo fine art piece printed.
I am targeting high end gallery-buyer(s) demanding top of the line printing, mounting, framing, glass, etc.
I expect to invest $1,000+ for first print, limited run.
At Art Basel, some of the bigger prints (6' x 5', etc.) were C-print LightJet.
Most were printed in Germany, Switzerland. One by Duggal in NYC.
Is there any consensus as to best US printing labs for this kind of work?
Any easy way to find out which labs have the best "master printers" if the equipment & printers are same? I will also need help refining each photo file.
Are there polls that have ranked high end labs? Advice appreciated.
