I too like Topaz Denoise. However, be aware that:

1. It is only available as a Photoshop (or compatible) plugin. There is no standalone program so it's not going to work for you unless you have an application to host it.

2. As already mentioned, it's very slow although the results are worth it.

Also, if you use Photoshop and any of the compatible NR plugins, it's pretty easy to use a surface mask and that's a great way to protect detail whilst taking the noise out of skies and other smooth surfaces.
