Kari,....im taking the 8mm fish mostly for fun. Its light, very small and love the effects when shooting into the sun and hopefully to capture wide open beaches. Yes, the 10-22 will do a great job....but just want something different to play with.

Some of you may recall my post earlier this year when a guy scoffed at the 10-22mm on my 40D and asked if i wanted to try a "real lens" as he handed me his 70-200 L F4 (obviously a terrific lens). I let him put my 10-22mm on his camera and within seconds, he was hooked. Then i couldnt get my lens back because he wanted to keep shooting with it. I love the 10-22mm and the perspective i can get with it. I think that over 75% the shots on my flickr acct are taken with it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ic360/

I decided to get another 8mb of memory….might do one 8gb card, or two 4mb cards seeing as they seem to be pretty inexpensive these days.
