70-300G on an 850/900 Pros/Cons, Sample photos FF

With the new year coming, I'm considering the 70-300G instead of the 400G, mainly due the price and the weight(3lbs,400G). Also I have a Tammy 200-500 for wildlife and am pretty happy with it but it just doesn't get the use. Therefore I don't think there is any need to get anything above the 70-300G. Most of my photography is shot at the race track and mainly good bright light. When I bought the A900 lost a little length, on the A700 APS my 70-200G = 105-300.

My questions, how does it perform on a FF? Focus Accuracy? Focus speed,(good light)? IQ compared to the 70-200G? and any sample photos. Also the build quality has been questioned? Dyxxum rates the 400G better in terms of sharpness vs the 300G is this significant in practical use?
Any help would be appreciated... Thx in advance.
