Re: Hoya Multi-Coated or Super Multi-Coated UV Filter?

I am also in the process of trying to build my first DSLR kit. (I have been using a Canon A1 and T90 for the last 20+ years now and I am finally making the jump.)

My D7 is currently on order, and I am trying to decide on UV filters for the EOS lenses I will be getting. I am finding out that companies like Hoya are now selling lenses marketed specifically for "digital" cameras. Is this just marketing, or is there something different about filters for digital cameras ? (Are the sensors sensitive to different wavelengths of light ?)

Thanks.
