Colorful Sunset HDR

all three are pretty sweet with #2 being my favorite. Funny to see that with all the talk in the other thread about bracketing that you took 9 shots and removed a few from the final merge. Just goes to show Nikon can make some improvements to the way bracketing is done.

Seems to me the easiest fix if Nikon doesn't want to spend much time making improvements to the whole system would be to leave the bracketing as is and increase the max stops from 1 to 2 that would give some serious DR.
Yeah. It was a coincidence. I shot these on Sunday and I believe that thread started on Monday. I thought about sharing the photos there instead of here, but I was sure it would get lost in the shuffle with all the OT talk that incurred.

I for one would like to see 2.0 EV steps in bracketing but the quick fix is just to subtract the odd # frames from your set ;)

Thanks for commenting Chris

to have more light on them given they are HDR. Is it because of your omission of a few frames?

Thanks Nick. No. I tried merging these in 9 frames and 5 frames. I think the buildings were too far to get them exposed properly plus I was exposing for the sky. The bright regions of the sky were just beyond those buildings.
