Re:"... When you can spot / count the body hairs on the model's face..."

1. Well, for pathologists, other scientists and medical personnel, this and the other detail/quality of images from the Leica S2, is quite an advantage. So, here again, I doubt that Leica will be able to produce the S2 Bodies/lenses in sufficient quantities and fast enough to meet a world wide market demand for them.

2. IMO, the Leica S2, is not just a photographer's camera ---- it will possibly have even greater demand in the scientific community, and with people/institutions, where its cost in somewhat negligible. For example, are you aware that Leica microscopes/equipment are already used in laboratories throughout the USA and the rest of the world, and that their cameras/lenses are increasingly being used in law enforcement/regulatory activities/functions within the United States.

3. At, the link below, is just a very small bit of what I am implying:

And, I totally agree with you; as, it's a no-brainer, IMO. In fact, I like the quality of all those shots.

Yeah. You want totally scary?

When you can spot / count the body hairs on the model's face, you know you've got (future) subject makeup prep problems!!
