Feel Sorry for Leica: X1 blown out of water by Ricoh ?

No guarantee of no dust!

Just because the sensor and lens are in the same piece of hardware does not stop dust from getting on the sensor. Any lens that extends or retracts, even a small amount, will move air and with air is dust. Many cameras with fixed non-removable lenses are getting dust on the sensor. I would find that a disadvantage to have to send the whole module off to have the dust cleaned out by the factory.

But then the X1 will be no different
