Feel Sorry for Leica: X1 blown out of water by Ricoh ?

As i stated in part of this thread above this is not entirely true. There are a good number of RAWs from the Ricoh GXR.

I think it is unfortunate that samples from these two cameras have appeared so close to one another. They have certainly begged comparison from forum users and if dpreview had been aware of this possibility they might have considered being a little more consistent in their approach to the two sets. The photographers were different and X1 was all raw whilst GRX is mixed jpg/raw. I think that the reviews of these cameras will be an good opportunity to provide an even handed comparison under more rigorous conditions and I suspect dpreview will do just that.
