Tips for shootng on TOP of a Hotel w/strobes ? (Repel down)

Any Tips for shooting on TOP of a Hotel w/strobes?

It will be a Repel down the side of a Hotel in Waikiki , to there new infinity pool.
(seem to be shooting a lot of those lately lol)
Morning to Sunset. Sunset is out to the ocean, if you know Waikiki.

Want to make sure I am not forgetting anything.

  • and any "cool" shot suggestions will be appreciated lol.

but, nothing that would put anyone at risk , of course

Set up:

  • Building scaffolding ... yes, I can more or less have what I want. but, what do I need? the plan now is to have it just extend a "little off the edge on the two sides ... maybe just 3 feet or so. . (so, I can get a better angle on two repel lines going down).

  • platform will be level with the edge. (an adjusted plan)

  • plan to use Super Clamps to mount the Strobes on the pipes.

  • WL1600 , AB1600 , and beauty dishes (no sock)

  • RadioPoppers JrX studio to control the power level of the strobes remote .. but, I also have the PX too, but did not feel the need.

  • D700 , 24-70 f2.8 , sb900 on body ... guess it's going to be a POL on the lens too.

Have a few shots of the set up. But, nothing is cut in stone yet.
The scaffolding plan is to make it bigger. will cover the whole corner L.

  • Most shots from the TOP ... just after or before they drop off the edge.

  • and also thinking of a shot with model half way down , shooting from the other rope ... facing Diamond Head.

when I was up there ... it was pretty windy ... and a long way down.
