G1 with WA converter

Following a thread a few weeks ago in which I warned people off attaching a WA converter to the 20mm lens (risking overloading the focussing motor), I've just received a step up ring so that I can attach my DMC LW55 converter to the kit lens of the G1.

So a quick crude comparison (it only arrived 40 mins ago): of
G1 at 14mm fl
FZ50 with LW55
G1 with LW55

In my untidy office, all photos aligned to the RHS bookshelf.

The only processing has been to lighten slightly, reduce all photos to 25%, and compress for Flickr.

The LW55 feels quite secure on the 14-45mm lens, and the calculated equiv fl is 0.7 x 14mm = 9.8mm. I'll have to wait until the sun comes out for some real life quality comparisons. It's been a good lens on the FZ50.
