Do I need anti virus on windows 7?

Yes, IE8 has some Sandbox features, but I'm relunctant to trust it only. Overall, I do like IE8 better then IE7, but haven't kept IE7 as the default on my customer PCs (that I repair/rebuild) since I'm still running in the compatibility issues with certain websites and don't want to burden my customers with these (I do intend to go 8 probably either next month or Dec for cusomer PCs since, hopefully by then, these issues will get resolved). I use IE8 myself and all the websites that I frequent work great (not at first; had issues with believe it or not and frequent crashes too; got fixed in July though). If you are just a little technically savvy, then I would go IE8 all the way, not just for the added security, but for features like Address Bar history deletion which I extremely like.
