Do you honestly need higher resolution for a viewfinder? If you can't focus with SVGA, you need glasses, and you are composing an image in it, not watching HDTV movies. Lets be realistic.

It depends what you use your camera for I guess. A lot of the posters in this thread seem to be snapshooters who don't need an optical viewfinder. Why they think it's right to impose their very low standards on everyone is beyond my comprehension.
