Thats exactly what I want to do. Get setup with a format that has nice quality but some good deals. It sounds like for MFT the Canon FD's are great value (compared to Voigtlander, Leica, Zeiss, Nikon, etc.). I am just not sure which to lens to buy first... maybe I should just order the adapter and start looking for lens deals. Fun fun.

. . . . I actually became interested in the FD 50/1.4 without knowing very much about FD lenses. Since then, I've been reading about them and learning that FD lenses are an amazing combination of optical performance and value among the various MF lens choices that can be easily used on a modern digital body.

. . . I hope that those prices aren't going to start going up too much. We're a rather small group of enthusiasts here who are getting excited about them but if too many start bidding against each other on Ebay, well, bad things could start happening with some of those bargains (getting paranoid here). Probably won't happen but who knows?

. . . At least for now though, those good buys are there and waiting for anyone who wants them.
