Re: posting test

Dino, I see you've switched from to Flickr. While has no way to directly link to photos, Flickr does.

Flickr has it's own quirks. To find the direct link to any of your photos, click the "All Sizes" icon above the photo (the one with the magnifying glass).

For the photo you posted, here is the page that comes up:

Underneath the photo on this page (only the owner will see it, meaning you) you will see a direct link to the photo labeled "2. Grab the photo's URL". If you want to post a smaller or larger version of the photo, first select the photo size, then copy and past the direct link URL from that page.

To make things even more complicated, Flickr requires you to post a link back to the photo. This is confusing, but part of their rules. They want you to also include a link to the photo's page, or at least to your Photostream.

They are very clear about this policy, and if you look at the text below the direct link URL, it even says so:

"Remember! Flickr Community Guidelines specify that if you post a Flickr photo on an external website, the photo must link back to its photo page. (So, use Option 1.)"

Of course we cannot use Option 1 (which you'll see is HTML) on DPReview. So doing what I did in the following thread is your only option on DPReview:
