A modification to shutters to prevent vibration.

I've been reading about shutter vibrations. As I understand it, DSLRS need a shutter to provide keep light out while reading the image off the sensor. ( http://www.astrophotoinsight.com/node/567 )

But why not operate with the shutter open prior to "taking" the photo, then closing the shutter to read the image. Any vibrations introduced by the closing of the shutter would be harmless, because the picture is already taken and there is no light on the sensor.

Of course, it wouldn't help with help with a rapid sequence of shots, but in those situations, shutter vibration is not much of a concern.
