Had the Nikon 55/1.2 for a while, fun lens, but the DOF was so ridiculously thin that focusing was a pain. I'd only recommend it for tripod work, or if you really, really need that extra light. In most cases, I found the ZD 50 gave nearly as good bokeh, but put enough of the subject in focus as to make it useable. I have about a dozen samples here:
