Highlight clipping is awful.

Low ISO Images are better than in S90 but some image is fuzzy. (42nd picture, ISO 80)

Purple fringing seems to be much less than in S90.

Highlight clipping is awful. (For example 1st & 20th picture)

Noise & NR artifacts are visible in shadow area in ISO 400. (24th & 25th picture)

ISO 3200 is horrible. (See the 18th picture.)

ISO 800 image looks not so beautiful. (See the 35th picture.)

Usable ISO (in full resolution) seems to be up to 800. (though barely acceptable)

So G11 seems to have one stop advantage in low light shooting compared with usual range in this category of digicam.

In Manchester in the 1840s, men and women were treated like animals. Why then should we be surprised that the utopian dreams of early communists were so appealing, or be so certain that they never will be again? -- Michael Elliott
