7D pixel binning = super clean 8-10 MP photos! = Super 20D/40D DSLR

One of the advantages of having a Canon DSLR vs. a Nikon DSLR is that the Canon DSLR can do pixel binning when using lower resolutions, while the Nikons do not.

This allows one to have much cleaner, noise-free photos!

For example, the Canon 5D Mark II, at half-resolution creates much cleaner photos than the D700.

With the 7D, I anticipate this will also be true. Thus one can create super-clean 8-10 MP photos by taking photos at the lower resolution file size.

This means that if one loves their 20D, 30D, or 40D, then the 7D allows an upgrade which creates the same or better photo (at 8-10 MP) than the 20D, 30D or 40D with all the new advantages in specifications - including speed, weathersealing, flash photography, remote control, video, etc. etc.

Thus the 7D can be looked at as a super-duper 20D, 30D, or 40D !!!

I love it!
