I thought third party batteries didn't work for the G1?

Do you have a link to a 3rd party battery with the same safety features as the genuine Panasonic.

Its not that that long ago Sony Corp. had a nasty battery incident (laptops) so I guess safety is a wise approach in the case of Li-ion. The question is if Panasonic will allow OEM batteries with the same features as their genuine ones. Time will show..
