Holiday in Danmark

Just wanted to share some pictures I took during our holidays in Danmark. It is a beautifull country. They are all taken with my recently acquired D90 which I am very satisfied with.

All the pictures are straight out of the camera JPEG-s. I really like the JPEG quality of the D90. According to Hogan's book the JPEG's are based on the RAW image (so the camera works the settings on the RAW image and than converts to JPEG, most other camera's do the settings after a first JPEG from the RAW image, if I remember correctly. I am a manual-mode shooter (using spot mode) so no problems with matrix metering.

Feel free to comment.

A falcon (related to the Perigrine falcon) in flight during a show:

Same bird (I accidentally forgot to change the shutterspeed so the JPEG was burned out. Luckily I had the RAW image to get this !! (in the JPEG most of the bird was white, in conversion I adjusted by 1,5 stop):

At the same show there also was an owl:

At the circus (ISO 3200):

Two of my daughter's:

Hope you enjoyed them.
