Post A Panorama ...

Here is a little panorama from Nijni Novgorod a month ago in Russia.

Little problem on the left sorry about that, it's a little bit far to go back ;-)

Done without... feet with and the little F100fd.

This is an older one from Italy:

The Arno river at Poggio alla Malva near Signa (which is near Florence)

4 or 5 images stitched with autostitch, shot with an Olympus C350
Great tread, btw :-)

I’ve been experimenting with Microsoft’s ICE to create panoramas and compare them with those created using PSE5’s panorama function. The algorithms developed by the MS ICE team work much more easily than the PSE5. There is significantly less post processing with ICE than with PSE5 function. I assume that MS ICE is still under development and it will be interesting to get the final product

Below you will find some of the same photos produced by MS ICE.

Sacred Valley:

Ollantaytambo:

Sacsayhuaman:

It’ll be interesting to read your comments on the results of the two stitching programs.

Just took a few handheld shots of Versailles and stitched then together--that is a big palace! Overcast/rainy day with the F31fd.

Here are some little panoramas from the Abbey of Orval in Belgium.
All have been done in 2006 with the Fuji S2.

Still searching for another one from Luxembourg...

I've reduced the size to make things easier.

Still searching for the one from Luxembourg and I prepare another one from Moscow.

Nice work stitching without splitting people down the middle....water, clouds, and crowds are hard to work with in panoramas, but this is great! I did notice that the two girls walking (yellow shirt and purple shirt) appear in all three shots, but I think it's a neat effect!
