What is your 5D + DPP + CS3/4 work flow?
I am a Canon 5D user and always shoot RAW.
My work flow involves creating 8bit tiff files from DPP after having adjusted the image for available parameters, but without touching the noise reduction bars. I then import each image into CS4 and do necessary levels, highlight/shadow, contrast adjustments if required, and then increase or decrese saturation if necessary.
This is following by noise reduction in Dfine plug in. At this point I save the 8bit tiff file. The image size is then reduced to 1200x800 and sharpness increased with smart sharpen filter. Now I save the image in jpeg and store then for later viewing or to upload.
My problem is that this entire process takes a lot of time for a single image (5-10mts). To complete 100 pics, you can image!! I have a fast PC and my fingers are quick. So, I guess its my work flow.
Please share your work flow, so I could compare it to my style and learn where I could possibly be going wrong.
