Canadian Snow Birds are coming.

I have an opportunity arising. The Canadian Snowbird (synchronized jet show) is coming to my hometown. Primarily most of the show will be taking place over a lake, safety a concern I guess.

I have been invited to a house on Lake where one of the members of the snowbirds "mother" will be with us. I do believe we are going to get buzzed. ???

Looking for some advice as to how I should Be prepare for this.

I believe I should use my AF-S VR 70-300mm lens (other lens that I have is 18-105mm Vr and a 50mm 1.8)

ISO at what? (200-640)
Shutter speed at what? (fast as possible)
Aperture I think I should have F 11? (sweet spot)

do I use a circular polarized filter?

It's supposed to be a very sunny day.....

I've done things like this and wrote it off as a learning situation and I can always go back and do it again if I get it wrong. I don't think I will get a second chance to do this. I need to be right the first time!
