why a pro left Canon for Nikon

Yes, my Canon 50mm f1.8 and 35mm f2 also work fine with their old clunky motors, but imagine how much better these Nikkor lenses would be with modern ultrasonic ring motors. Nikon just isn't willing to redesign these lenses until after I buy them.
