raised price of the 12-24mm - outrageous!

as a former happy K10D owner i was thinking about buying into Pentax with a K-7 again...

Then i took a quick look at the current price development in Pentax lenses in Germany (which lenses will I get

Holy C* p!

The Pentax 12-24 mm SMC DA 4.0 ED AL(IF) is now at 1050 Euros! Last year I remember something like 690 Euros? Which was still more expansive than the twinlens Tokina 12-24/4, which is like 380 Euros in Nikon mount...

All lensprices are up, but the Pentax lenses seem to raise about 50-100% the last months? What´s happening? This way I´ll never get back to Pentax again...

1050 Euros is just insane: a Canon 17-40mm/4 USM L for my 5DII would only cost me 690 Euro, and it´s got it all: alucast body, fully weathersealed, SDM driven - none found in the Pentax. The comparing Pentax lens would be a

Pentax DA* 11-20mm/4 SDM WR - right? How much would that be? 2000 Euro?

Anyway - the 35mm Limited is a lovely lens too... 2 weeks ago it was like 340 Euros everywhere - now 540 Euro??

Will these prices regulate soon?

I wanted to return to Pentax - I just loved this company. But raising lens prices like over 50% and same time outsourcing the service in hamburg just leaves me with a sour feeling.

Any motivational comments for me? (I really like the k-7)
