S2 Custom White Balance
Hope someone can help me out.
I'd like to know if the custom white balance measurement works in a similar fashion to the Canon D60 on the S2.
On the D60 you actually exposed and write a frame to you cf card and later go back via the camera menu to measure custom white balance.
At first this struck me as tedious until I realised that this allows you to do a custom wb with studio strobes. As the strobe duration is short, measuring off a previously written file still allows you to custom set studio flash.
If this how the S2 custom measurement works, or is it similar to many cameras that measure instantly, so do not give you the option to measure stobe light??
I'd also like to know when you preview a raw file on the S2 if it displays on the lcd in normal color and if it takes very long to preview? Again the Canon D60 writes and uses an attached jpeg so it can display in normal color very quickly on a lcd preview of a raw file.
Thanks for your help.
