No, it has to do with the fact that you can demand from a corporation
higher standards - not to be "honest" in CNBC but to educate people
on how markets really work, acnowledged in an interview by Cramer
himself- than a small business or a private person, which was what
started this discussion. (in the case of dpreview not censoring their
public forums).

Sure, you can demand ANYTHING. Only when it starts to get to the
company's bottom line or their conscience, will they do anything.

Companies have no conscience, this is what the corporate
responsibility stuff is all about:

People who run and make decisions for companies do, whether you believe it or not.

trying to embed in their mission statement goals that benefit society
and having them implement in their processes codes of conduct that
reflect certain ethical principles and values.

That can be done, for a variety of reasons, only by social pressure
(amont them voicing your complaints and demands). Is this effective?
Can't say. Appropriate? yes.

For corporations being required to protect free speech I gave you
another example, if you noticed.

"REQUIRED"???? You are dreaming.

Yes, required. Not legally required, but see 2 a and 2 b

Not required by ANY definition of required. If they don't comply, what the consequences? NOTHING

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/require

Being "unethical" is not the same as being "unfair".

I'm not even bothering going there.

Anybody can
demand anything. What does that have to do with a company's
responsibility?

see above

I did. It is non-responsive to the question.
