Boh (O)K e?

Sigma 50mm at f/1.8:

Surprised I haven't seen any from this lens yet!

Mark have you always had the Tokina or is this a new aquisition?

Look forward to seeing some magic from you and this lens!

One of mine from a few months back (Bali). Now that spring is here in Portland Oregon I'll try to get some more going.

Tamron 90/2.8:

Nikon AF 70-210/4-5.6D:

And the, regarding bokeh, not so good AF 50/1.8D:

And as a bonus, the sursprisingly good (but not stunning) AF-S DX 35/1.8G:

Mark have you always had the Tokina or is this a new aquisition?
I have it for quite some time now but don't use it often. I like to shoot springflowers with it and butterflies or grasshoppers. 1 From today...

Look forward to seeing some magic from you and this lens!
and I yours! always a pleasure to view! Did you get married?

cheers, Mark

For some reason I'm having a little flashback of having this exact conversation before LOL. I think I may have asked you this same questions a year or two ago.

It doesn't reach the macro ranges you like to shoot in or something like that right?

I did get married some time ago.....couple of years back actually. LOL.

The 35 1.8 is surprisingly good for bokeh in some circumstances:

The 80-200's are not too bad either. Taken in the late evening at a Kyoto area plum grove. The conditions required me to push the lens to its limits (f2.8 at 200mm) where it is not at its best, but this is not too bad.

Nikon D70s with the second version of the AF 80-200mm push-pull.

Very nice bokeh Mark. Here is one of mine with my D50 and 70 200VR at 200mm f2.8. Dave
