help understanding monitor calibration
I am trying to figure out how to calibrate my LCD (TN) monitor. I've read a few articles and it seems to just confuse me more. What I've learned so far is that I need to calibrate and profile my monitor, but I am confused if I am suppose to calibrate first and then profile? Or create a profile using "Display Data Channel" (DDC) interface, set that as my default monitor profile under display properties > settings > advanced > Color Management and then calibrate my monitor?
I did create a profile with a free utility called QuickMonitorProfile and set it as my default monitor profile, but I am not sure If I am suppose to do that and then calibrate.
