VR / OS etc
I currently have a D40 with the 18-55 kit lens, and a 55-200mm. I recently decided that the camera does all I need, but that I have fallen out of love with photography a little due to the constant lens changes. I plan to sell both and replace with a Nikkor 18-200mm as I was missing too many shots changing lens. I then heard about VR, and everything changed!
Budget is important, and with only around £200 to spend I cannot afford the Nikkor 18-200mm VR. So heres my question, what would YOU buy...
18-200mm Sigma OS
18-200mm Tamron VC
18-200mm Nikkor non VR
Is the gain in vibration reduction worth the potential lens quality decrease? Im amateur, but love night and dusk shots of city skylines, but my wife also uses the camera for a lot of shots of our pets, so speed is important (I have a flash and am aware VR is slower in low light).
Lastly, anyone know any good offers on these lens'?
