LX3 - the worst camera I ever owned

Re: I have to agree about the screen

My only point is that while the LX3 is an excellent camera with IQ nearly on par with a DSLR, there are limitations. The screen is a problem in bright daylight as many posts on this forum point out. It's fine to have the LX3 everywhere you go but if you can't see your subject you're better off carrying your dslr or buying the optional but expensive external viewfinder. That said, it's an outstanding low light camera. Also, many compact or subcompact cameras now have dispensed with the viewfinder altogether to save space for a larger screen and to reduce cost. That's the trade off you make with the small pocketable cameras available today.
