A line on the horizon for Bill

In previous posts in this thread, I had promised to be on the look-out in Libya for a suitable echo photograph.

The opportunity presented itself when driving back from the Wadi Meggedet to the desert town of Serdeles (in Tuareg * Al-Awaynat in Arab). We had almost reached the asphalted road when I saw a fuel truck.

This is the shot, handheld through the back window of our Landcruiser while moving. I was surprised to see that I did not have to adjust the horizon and that it was almost exactly in the middle. I did a minimal crop (less than 3 % from the left) to keep the truck straight in the middle between left and right. And then just a small boost of contrast to see better through the constant desert dust. B&W done in PSE5 because I wanted to rush this.
