Thanks for the great first person T-900 information. I think this is
what I want but I do have one question for you.

I have a 3 or 4 year old 10 megapixel Sony and as much as I enjoy it,
the screen is essentially useless outdoors during the day. I can
live with that in terms of not being able to see the picture I just
took but it is a problem trying to take one because the sun washes
out the screen. I just point the camera in the general direction of
the subject and hope for the best.

Have LCD screens, in general, and the T-900, specifically, gotten any
better in this regard? If not I may need to find one less sleek with
a view finder. I have the same problem with a 3 year old smart phone
but have noticed some of the newer ones work much better in the sun.

Thanks,
Bill

I was out in the sun with the camera and didn't have a problem. I was able to compose the picture and see the on screen controls. It is a little hard to really evaluate the shot after the fact, but I I didn't have a problem seeing what I was doing.
