Yes, but it wasn't that hard - sunrise was about 6:50am. I could literally look out the window by the foot of my bed and see the sun rise, and it was just a couple hundred foot walk from my room to the beach where I took my shots. It was tough!

This is the first time I've ever been able to capture a sunrise/sunset with anything even close to how I perceived it in real life. Some of the sunrise shots were handheld and some were tripod - given that this one was f/22 I assume it was one of the tripod shots. It just "worked".

All of these shots had some post-processing in Bibble Pro, especially upping the Vibrance and Saturation. Not so much as to appear unrealistic, but enough to make it "pop".
