Here's a horizontal strip from one of your RAWs (14-bit; the wedge, camera, and strap) converted very literally and manually in IRIS, at 14 bits, 10 bits, 9 bits, 8 bits, and 7 bits. These all use a blackpoint of 1500 ADU above black (2524, literally), and some gamma. After division and re-multiplication, they all received exactly the same handling.
